The economic environment we are experiencing in our country is unstable.
This is a result of the policies of the Republican party.
Those policies must be taken into consideration by our County Government.
The increased cost of health care, housing, energy and property taxes are damaging our quality of life.
Our county's financial future needs excellent planning and
collaboration between all units of government in order to better plan for these issues- now.
As the functional banker for Kane County, the Treasurer provides that linkage .

The Treasurer should participate in being an analytical leader within the county government.
I am able to perform that role.
I earned a Degree in Finance from Elmhurst College and an MBA from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management from Northwestern University, with concentrations in Finance and Operations.
I have spent most of my life in Kane County and have no relatives serving in any county government offices - which creates a source for conflict of interest in the performance of duties of the Treasurer's office.
I have been a lifelong Democrat.
